Certified Vehicles for the Collection and Transport of Biological Substances
MediTransport’s vehicles fully comply with Greek and EU legislation and are used exclusively for the collection and transportation of biological substances.

Storage Boxes for Biological Substances
The storage boxes have insulation that allows temperature to be maintained for long periods of time regardless of the external environmental conditions, thus the appropriate temperature levels for any type of transported substance can be achieved.
For the transportation of biological substances to and from the vehicle, we use portable boxes with similar characteristics (stability, insulation) to the storage boxes in order to maintain the “Cold Chain”.
The storage boxes for biological substances are certified by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the transportation and storage of heat-sensitive biological substances. They also comply with ADR regulation for the transportation of infectious and potentially infectious biological substances.

Real-Time Monitoring of Temperature & Geolocation
To ensure maximum security in the transportation of biological substances and derivatives and to ease the immediate response to emergencies, our company has equipped its vehicles with a GPS system (Global Positioning System) providing the ability to monitor in real time both the geographical position and the temperature of the boxes of controlled temperature.
The temperature conditions are monitored by certified real-time temperature data logger devices with the ability to simultaneously record four (at least) temperatures at four (at least) different boxes.
Temperature data are available immediately and retrospectively whenever requested for evaluation.
Packaging & Delivery
The packaging of biological substances is carried out using certified packages, according to the type and potential hazard of the transported substance as well as the specific transportation conditions.
The identification of biological materials is secured using a unique code upon receipt.
Upon completion of the shipment and delivery of the substance, the sender is notified via SMS.
